January 12-18, 2024 Edition Agenda: Luecila 3000 and Summer Holiday Events

What to do this weekend and next week in Caledonia? A little more on the agenda of culture and excursions, apart from an event specific to the month of January: Luecila 3000 takes place in Lifou. However, the watermelon festival was canceled in Tiga. In Greater Nouméa, operations aimed at fulfilling the holidays continue. A new animation is coming to the Maritime Museum.

Despite the rainy episodes, Caledonia is still devastated by the heat. Enough to make you want to stay cool. Be brave, some encounters resist!

It is unmissable in January in Lifo. Make way for Luecila 3000 with numerous concerts and events (FANC skydiving, miss pageant, Loyalty fashion week parade, giant bougna, entertainment, etc.). The event returns on Friday the 12th from 6 a.m. to midnight, Saturday the 13th from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the theme of heritage and Sunday the 14th from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the theme of relaxation. The common thread of this 2024 edition: “Yesterday, today for tomorrow”.

On the other hand, Tokanod has to cancel its own Watermelon holiday, scheduled from Saturday January 13th to Monday January 15th. The organizing committee was forced to make a decision. During this harvest time, Tiga has made a habit of celebrating its natural wealth, born from a land without water and rich in phosphates. But there is no island no service at the momentneither air nor sea.
