What’s happening this season at Men’s Fashion Week in Paris – Vijesti 24

Ciao Milan, hello Paris Fashion Week. After four days of supreme luxury, craftsmanship and unmistakable creativity, Milan has given us a lot, and we are ready for even more. We have some big names this season including another Louis Vuitton show from Pharrell, Rick Owens, Dior Homme, LOEWE, Givenchy and more. Check out the schedule of shows below to get excited.

Louis Vuitton – 16/1 (20:00 CET / 19:00 GMT)

This is the one everyone is looking forward to. Pharrell practically shut down Paris during his last Louis Vuitton show, and since the stakes are huge, we don’t expect anything less this season either. We’ll see celebrities, that’s for sure (i Louis Pisano taken to his own Twitter to give us the green light, turn this over Swae Lee is ready to perform), but the real question is: will we have pixelated clothes again?

BOTTER – 17. 1. (10:00 CET / 09:00 GMT)

THE BEST returns to Paris Fashion Week, following the SS24 offering that turned heads with its plastic ball tubes used for tops, bottoms and accessories alike. With BOTTER, we’ve learned to expect the unexpected, and we still don’t know what we’ll see from the Parisian brand this week.

Givenchy – 17.1. (14:30 CET / 13:30 GMT)
Givenchy ©

As a house between creative directors, continued Matthew M. Williams‘ going to Givenchy last December, his FW24 show will be designed in-house by the design studio. Will it be a return to the roots of the brand or will we witness a completely new direction, perhaps a hint of the House’s future?

Wales Bonner – 17.1. (18:30 CET / 17:30 GMT)

Wales Bonner will present its Fall/Winter 2024 collection fresh from the biggest “Marathon Campaign”, which focused on the beauty, strength and resilience of long-distance runners. Will Wales Bonner continue with his sportswear inspired approach? We certainly hope so.

Rick Owens – 1/18 (10:00 CET / 09:00 GMT)

The Dark Lord, aka Rick Owens, will emerge from his coffin (we’re guessing it’s Rick’s favorite place to sleep) to show off his FW24 menswear collection. As always, Rick Owens will walk the colossal steps of the Palais de Tokyo for his show, which will feature at least 80% all-black clothing.

Issey Miyake – 18.1. (12:30 CET / 11:30 GMT)

Issey Miyake East THE master of movement. Now under the leadership of Satoshi Kondo, the brand continues to capture its essence through pleated clothing that is best shown not through an ordinary fashion show, but through performance. Issey Miyake is always there to break the repetitiveness of fashion week, evoking a hybrid of dance and fashion show.

Yohji Yamamoto – 18.1. (17:30 CET / 16:30 GMT)

An eternal icon of Japanese fashion, Yohji Yamamoto, is just days away from the FW24 menswear launch, and we can’t stop thinking about it. With Yohji, you can expect long coats to usher in our winter Bob Dylan era, neutral fabric layers and fancy headwear.

Junya Watanabe – 19/1 (10:00 CET / 09:00 GMT)

last season, Junya Watanabe he won our hearts (and the hearts of our wild boys) with his Palace cooperation. The result of this relationship came in the form of a tough nylon jacket that sold out almost as quickly as it was released. Here is another very successful collaboration.

Dior – 19.01. (3:00 a.m. CET / 2:00 p.m. GMT)

Kim Jones took over the menswear branch Dior and took her to another stratosphere, one where collaborations rule and street-inspired clothing fills the runways. While we’ve seen the British designer get more comfortable with the brand over seasons and collaborations, it’s still a fun game to guess who Kim Jones will choose this time around.

KENZO – 01/19 (20:30 CET / 19:30 GMT)
KENZO ©

THE NIGO-the brand continues to represent an East-West perspective, with the brand and designer’s Japanese roots infused with classic Parisian style. With NIGO we saw a strong focus on KENZO monogram and other graphic details, injecting elements of youth into the mix. We wonder which graphic element will be central in this KENZO collection…

Kiko Kostadinov – January 20 (10:30 a.m. CET / 09:30 a.m. GMT)

The world of Kiko Kostadinov still worth diving into. Filled with subtle tailoring displays that are hard to miss ASICS Collabs, the Kiko fashion show always offers an alternative perspective on men’s fashion, through designers who are always looking for experimentation and style research. It is safe to say that this is something to look forward to.

LOEWE – 20 January (12:00 CET / 11:00 GMT)
LOEWE ©

Jonathan Anderson he doesn’t sleep during Fashion Week, with his eponymous brand after presenting a collection in Milan that mixed genres and featured cat-shaped sweaters. For Paris, the recent winner of Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards will present his latest collection for LOEWE. We expect a lot of craziness according to Anderson, with an uncompromising style that will flood editorials in three months.

Kidsuper – 20 January (4:30 am CET / 3:30 pm GMT)
Kidsuper ©

The non-conformist forte of Parisian fashion, Colm Dillane returns for another Kidsuper show. All bets are off with this one: game? Already done. Auction? This was spring/summer 2023. This season’s show can vary from a garage sale style show to a real opera. Anyway, we’ll be watching.
